Vocational Training in Workplace
"Vocational Training in Workplace" is a new education model put into
practice in order to graduate students as students with high practical
skills by integrating the theoretical and practical knowledge gained by
students during their education with full-time practical training in
workplaces in their last semester under the name of "Vocational Training
in Workplace" course. Our university decided to implement this
education model in order to increase the qualified employability of our
students and started to implement it. Our students complete their last
semester by participating directly in business life for 15 weeks
full-time and uninterruptedly without coming to school. They work in
workplaces in a real environment, not virtual, not theoretical but
practical, not by looking and listening but by touching and doing and
even making mistakes. We sincerely believe that this practice will
enable our students to be better prepared for life and to grow more
experienced.
The Difference of Training from Internship
"Vocational Training in Workplace" is not an internship. Under the name of "Vocational Training in Business", it is a course that includes practical training to be done in workplaces, with the obligation to attend the last semester of the curriculum.
Duration of Education
Our students will complete their final semester by working full-time in their workplaces for 15 weeks continuously. During this period, they will be subject to the working conditions and hours of their workplaces.
What will the Education Model provide to our students?
Our students will be able to integrate the theoretical knowledge they have gained about their vocational fields during their education with the practical training they will do under the guidance of experts in the workplaces under the name of "Vocational Training in Business" course, and will be able to develop the practical skills necessary for their training for qualified employment,
They will learn about the experiences in their workplaces, and their skills in teamwork, work discipline and taking responsibility will increase,
They will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the business world while studying, they will not have adaptation problems in their workplaces after graduation
They will have the opportunity to improve themselves at their workplaces, increase their experience and self-confidence, and make career planning for their future
Our students will have the opportunity to meet business life and find a job while studying, and they will graduate with 4 months of work experience.
