With the internship training, students are shown various applications of the Bioengineering profession both in the laboratory and in the industrial sector, and it is aimed to gain experience in the fields they are interested in before entering the profession.

For students studying at Manisa Celal Bayar University Department of Bioengineering who are not subject to the Vocational Training in Workplace (Intern) Program, two internships, one consisting of 20 working days each, are compulsory at the end of the 4th semester and the other at the end of the 6th semester. Considering the areas where our graduates can work, it is recommended that two different internships, one industrial and one laboratory internship, be done as a department for students who are not subject to the Vocational Training in Workplace (Intern) Program. In this way, for a total of 40 days, our students can both work in the industry as engineers and take part in scientific studies.

For students who are subject to the Vocational Education in Business (Intern) Program, one internship consisting of 20 working days is required.

Students are required to create an internship report about their work during their internship.

Internship exams are held orally between the dates to be determined by the Internship Commission and students are also held responsible for the reports they write. Students who do not attend the internship exam or fail the exam are required to repeat the internship.
